Acupuncture is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, but has spread throughout Asia. It is partly the insertion of needles that are finer than a hair, into very specific surface points on your body. These needles are placed in the acupuncture points which lie along the acupuncture channels in the body. The needles allow over-charged channels to discharge, and under-charged channels to charge with life force. I have had many hundreds of acupuncture treatments. I'd say it's like anything else, finding a good one is not so easy but well worth the effort.
